<p>The present invention relates to a method for reproducing content. According to an embodiment of the present invention, content is selected by a first device connected to a network. An operation method of at least one second device included in the network can be set in association with the reproduction of the content. The second device can be set to a mute or low volume mode. When content reproduction is finished, a message notifying occurrence of an event, which is received from the second device during the reproduction of the content, can be outputted. If a message is received during the reproduction of the content, the received message can be outputted immediately. Alternatively, if a message for an event related to the same sender is received at least a predetermined number of times, a message notifying the situation can be outputted. Also, the device can be set to the mute or low volume mode according to the type of the device. Therefore, it is possible to increase viewer′s concentration so that the viewer can watch the content to the end without interruption of external devices and can check events occurring while concentrating on watching the content, without missing the events.</p> |
