Provided is a hard coating film which rarely adheres to a soft metal and is suitable for the coating of the surface of, for example, a mold that contacts with the soft metal. The hard coating film comprises a metal element comprising at least two elements selected from the group consisting of Ti, Al and Cr and a non-metal element comprising only O (oxygen) or comprising O and C and/or N, and is characterized in that the atomic ratio of the content of O relative to the total content of the non-metal element is 0.2 or more. |
