1. A method comprising:
associating an identifier and a trigger with a digital audio item uploaded to a server by a digital rights holder of the digital audio item for inclusion into a digital multimedia store managed by the server, wherein the identifier identifies the digital audio item from a plurality of other audio items available at the digital multimedia store; if the trigger is active, displaying a first user interface of the digital multimedia store to a media store media distributor distinct from the digital rights holder, the first user interface associated with the uploaded digital audio item and providing code for executing an embedding functionality, wherein upon execution, the embedding functionality allows for automatic inclusion of the digital audio item into a site of the media distributor; receiving a request to embed the digital audio item into the site of the media distributor; responsive to the request to embed the digital audio item into the site of the media distributor, providing code functional to obtain the digital audio item upon activation; receiving an indication of activation of the code functional to obtain the digital audio item via the site of the media distributor; and responsive to the indication of activation, providing access to the digital media item to an individual media profile of a first user of the digital media store, the media profile managed by the server and associated with the digital multimedia store. |
