This forging device includes a rotating base (10) and forming rollers (14). While the rotating base rotates a material (W), the outer peripheral surfaces (14a) of the forming rollers are pressed against an end surface (Wb) of the material in the center axial direction of the material so as to forge the material. The forming rollers are disposed away from a rotation axis (L1). The positions of end portions (14c) among the outer peripheral surfaces of the forming rollers on the side opposite from the side of a center axis (L2) of the forming rollers is more outward in the radial direction of the material than the position of an outer peripheral surface (Wd) of the material after forging.
