PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect of side lobes and display signals from a target in natural form, and to facilitate discrimination between signals caused by the target and signals caused by objects other than the target.SOLUTION: A signal processor applies high-resolution processing to a reception signal received by a target detector for detecting whether a target exists, and then multiplies the reception signal by a window function to make it function as a window function processing signal that has a desired natural form. After that, the signal processor compares the signal level of the reception signal and the signal level of the window function processing signal for each sample of predetermined intervals constituting each of the signals to select a sample with a low level.
