The system has microcomputer (39) that is provided for setting power supply time period for coil (41a) of fuel injection valve (41). A constant current control unit (57) is configured to turn on switching element (T11) while coil current rises/falls to respective upper and lower threshold value, from on state to off state and from off state to on state respectively. The microcomputer is configured to detect battery voltage and ambient temperature of switching element, and change the threshold values on basis of detection results.
