<p>A drawer-type food steamer arranges a food steamer as a chest of drawers and comprises drawers, a steamer frame, handles, grips, support rails, drawer bottoms, sealing means, et cetera; the steamer frame, the drawers and the support rails can be made of wood, of an aluminum alloy, or of other materials. The support rails support the drawers; the sealing means can be a wedge-shaped arrangement at the contact faces of the drawers with the steamer frame, or be made of sponge or other material; the steamer frame can be arranged as a single frame or an assembly of frames or as a number of rows on a single frame; when in use steaming food, individual drawers can be taken out one at a time, or exchanged for another, when their contents are ready, thus saving energy as once water is boiling, the flame can be turned down; if an electrical induction stove is used as a heat source, this can be set to approximately 300 watts and continual steam is maintained, allowing buns to be steamed for one day for approximately 2 kilowatt-hours. The steamer is suitable for large steamers and for small steamers such as for dumplings, as well as for making yogurt, or for hatching chicks or ducklings with the simple addition of a temperature control means. The present utility model features energy economy and a simple structure, and has excellent value.</p> |
