The present invention relates to a rainfall detection apparatus in which a bowl is positioned in parallel with a ballast in order to detect the rainfall, such as rain or snow, and at the time of rainfall, the bowl is moved down by rainwater stored therein, while the ballast is moved up, so that a contact member positioned adjacent to the ballast comes into contact with a switch to output a rainfall start signal, and in which when the contact member is detached from the switch, a rainfall stop signal is outputted, and to a drainage control system capable of controlling the rainwater drainage using the rainfall detection apparatus. The rainfall detection apparatus includes a housing having a base at a lower portion at a given interval from the ground, with an upper end being formed with an inlet port and a lower end being formed with an outlet port; and a rainfall detection unit having a bowl provided in the housing and receiving the rainwater flowing from the inlet port, a connecting rod connecting one side of the bowl and having a rotation shaft, a ballast connected to the other side of the connecting rod, a contact member provided adjacent to the ballast and fixed to the connecting rod, and a switch provided above the contact member at a given interval and outputting a rainfall start signal and a rainfall stop signal when the switch comes into contact with the contact member or is detached from the contact member. |
