PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection support system with a low initial cost with which the cost and time associated with periodic inspections can be reduced and the quality of periodic inspections can be improved and homogenized.SOLUTION: An inspection support system with which a user conducts an inspection carrying a mobile information terminal that has a GPS function, a camera function, an input unit, a display unit and a communication function supports report generation via a processing server. A map with the point of inspection and a current position shown on it is displayed on the display unit of the mobile information terminal, an image is recorded using the camera function at the specified point of inspection, and the recorded image in association with the positional information of the point of inspection obtained using the GPS function is transferred using the communication function. The processing server extracts differences between the received image and a past image of the same point of inspection by analyzing them, prepares in advance expected report contents associated with the differences in the image, as basic sentences, and generates a report by selecting report contents from the expected report contents associated with the extracted image differences and creating a description together with information on a date and a place. |
