This positive electrode active material layer comprises: positive electrode active particles comprising a solid solution or a Li compound selected from LixNiaCobMncO2, LixCobMncO2, LixNiaMncO2, LixNiaCobO2 and Li2MnO3 (wherein 0.5≤x≤1.5, 0.1≤a<1, 0.1≤b<1, 0.1≤c<1); a binding section that binds the positive electrode active particles to each other and also binds the positive electrode active particles to a collector; and an organic-inorganic coating layer that coats at least a part of the surfaces of the positive electrode active particles. Due to the high strength of the join between the organic-inorganic coating layer and the lithium compound, direct contact between the positive electrode active particles and an electrolyte during high-voltage drive is inhibited. |
