摘要 An engine block turning device using a wire rope is disclosed. The engine block turning device comprises an H-beam support frame body (H) positioned in a horizontal direction; an initial driving body (100) positioned in the left side of the H-beam support frame body (H), connected to the H-beam support frame body (H) in the upper part, and having an initial driving motor (190) for winding or unwinding the first wire rope (110); and a second driving body (200) positioned in the right side of the H-beam support frame body (H), connected to the H-beam support frame body (H) in the upper part, and having a second driving motor (29) for winding or unwinding a second wire rope (210). The outer surface of a heavily weighted engine block is pulled by the first wire rope (110) of the initial driving body (100) and the second wire rope (210) of the second driving body (200) turns the heavily weighted engine block with the while the first wire rope (110) of the initial driving body (100) and the second wire rope (210) of the second driving body (200) is wound or unwound. By turning heavy objects, such as the heavily weighted engine block using the first wire rope of the initial driving body and the second wire rope of the second driving body, the present invention can prevent slippage in the turning work and can reduce costs caused by the frequent replacement of the ropes with the extended life of the wire ropes. Also, the present invention can have a sophisticated turning motion and can prevent overload on the driving motors by preventing slippage of the ropes during the turning work.
