A multi-part mould for use in a rotational moulding process to produce a plastics product comprises first and second adjacent mould sections 5, 6, 11 having respective co-operating projections 8, 8, 8 that abut when the mould is in a closed configuration to produce a product comprising an open-ended channel 7 extending within the body. Preferably, the mould produces a ruggedized case 9, wherein the co-operating projections produce an integral handle. The mould sections are preferably modular to allow a change in size, or depth of the case. Preferably, the mould provides means (e.g a vertically extending barrier blocking plastic ingress) to prevent the formation of a channel when non-cooperating mould sections are located adjacently. A method of producing a product using the mould and a plastics case produced by the method are further provided. Also disclosed includes: an insert for attaching a latch to a plastics product, a case, a lid for a case, a catch plate for a moulded plastics case and a method of providing a hinge connection between a lid and a body of a case. |
