Transfer medium for security-critical medical image contents

The method involves creating two data convolutes comprising an anonymized image data record and an encrypted image data record for an image data record (BD). The anonymized record associated with a user-specific key is accessed, if a nonsecure application is detected and presented to a destination application (Z). A paste command is forwarded to a trader module, if a secure application is detected. The key is used to access and to decrypt the encrypted record in a memory module and to provide the decrypted image data record to the destination application. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program for providing a transfer function for sensitive medical image data records with phi sections from a source application to a destination application; and (2) a transfer system for sensitive medical image data records with phi sections from a source application to a destination application.
