<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument which easily generates musical sounds of rhythmic tones, which are already allocated to a foot pedal, according to the operation of an optional pad, when the foot pedal cannot be used. <P>SOLUTION: When determining whether a foot pedal can be used and the foot pedal is determined not to be used, a rhythmic tone, which is allocated to the foot pedal, is automatically allocated to a pad identified from among a plurality of pads. Thus, a performer easily generates musical sounds having the rhythmic tones which are already allocated to the foot pedal, by operating the pad;, even when the foot pedal is not used, that is, the foot pedal is not connected or the performer does not use the connected foot pedal, since the rhythmic tone already allocated to the foot pedal is automatically allocated to an optional pad. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
