PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "a navigation device" that suppresses erroneous recognition on a current position by a user in a case of failure in satellite positioning.SOLUTION: If normal GPS positioning by a GPS receiver 103 ends in failure, a guide image is displayed which has an estimated current position figure 320, representing an estimated position of a current position, represented on a map image 301 instead of a current position figure 310 (c), and the estimated current position figure 320 is advanced on a rod in the map image 301 as time passes (d). When the estimated current position reaches an intersection, a guide image is displayed which has a lost position figure 330 represented at the reached intersection position in the map image 301 instead of the estimated current position figure 320, and the display of the guide image representing the lost position figure 330 at the intersection position is maintained thereafter until normal GPS positioning by the GPS receiver 103 recovers. |
