PROCESS OF ETHANOL DEHYDRATION

The invention relates to food industry, in particular to distillery industry. A process of ethanol dehydration provides for water adsorption with sorbent. Mordenite is used as a sorbent, and adsorption process is carried out with initial concentration of aqueous-alcoholic solution of 55-60 vol. % at a temperature of 86 °C at first stage and with solution concentration of 85-90 vol. % at a temperature of 82 °C at second stage. The technical result is in the preparation of anhydrous ethanol due to stage-to-stage sorption process providing reduction of energy consumption and production cost.
