METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF TIME OF IGNITION AND TIME OF BURNING OF A SOLID FUEL SAMPLE

A method for the determination of delay time of ignition and time of burning of the sample of solid fuel includes measurement with two thermoelectric transducers of temperature of the sample surface and of gas near the surface. Additionally a special device for previous data processing is used, due to that simultaneously with measurement of temperature respective time derivatives of temperature, instants of ignition and decay of the sample are fixed when time derivative comes to maximal or minimal value.
