The present invention relates to a laundry treating apparatus comprising: a drum magnetizing unit arranged around the circumferential surface of a drum wherein laundry is accommodated; and a tub magnetizing unit arranged around the circumferential surface of a tub where washing water is stored for levitating the drum within the tub by a repulsive force from the drum magnetizing unit, wherein at least one between the drum magnetizing unit and the tub magnetizing unit is composed of at least a pair of magnetic force generation units arranged to be spaced from each other by a regular distance. |
