Disclosed are a server (100), a client, a system and a method for preloading a browse page on an explorer. The present invention relates to the technical field of network data communications. The server (100) comprises: a link extracting module (110), used for extracting a link contained in a page browsed currently from a client; a page downloading module (120), used for downloading the page corresponding to the link from a website; a page compressing module (130), used for compressing the downloaded page, generating a page package corresponding to the link, and storing the page package in a storing module (140); the storing module (140), used for storing the page package corresponding to the link; and a communications transceiver module (150), used for receiving a request sent by client for loading the linked page in the currently browsed page and sending a page package corresponding to the to-be-loaded link to the client. By means of the present invention, the technical problems can be solved that a large amount of useless download flow is generated on the client, network flow is wasted and workload of the client is increased. |
