PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type drain trap capable of preventing backflow of drainage water to an upper inflow port.SOLUTION: A casing is formed by tightening an upper body 4 having an upper inflow port 3 and a lower body 7 having a lower outflow port 6 to a body 2 having a float chamber 1 inside. The body 2 is vertically symmetrical, the upper body 4 and the lower body 7 are in the same shape and set upside down. A check valve seat 11 having a check port 10 is fixed to the upper body 4, and a drain valve seat 15 having an exhaust port 14 is fixed to the lower body 7. The check valve seat 11 and the drain valve seat 15 are in the same shape and set upside down. A spherical float 18 is arranged in the float chamber 1 at a free state. When drainage water flows back from the lower outflow port 6, the float 18 floats, is seated to the check valve seat 11, closes the check port 10, and thus, backflow of the drainage water to the upper inflow port 3 is prevented. |
