PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation member capable of imparting base isolation in earthquake of both of short-cycle earthquake motion and long-cycle earthquake motion by being mainly disposed over between an earthquake motion generation surface side and a base isolation object member side.SOLUTION: A lower side base 1 having a cylindrical space 1a on its central portion, and provided with base isolation control upward concave portions 7 having a concave mirror shape at four corner portions, is mounted on a top face of an earthquake motion generation surface side A, and an upper side base 2 having a cylindrical space 2a on its central portion, and provided with base isolation control downward concave portions 8 having the concave mirror shape, at its four corner portions, is mounted on a lower face of the base isolation object member side B in a state that both cylindrical spaces 1a, 2a are coaxial. Further base isolation slider tools 12 formed by connecting a lower slider 9 and an upper slider 10 having rotatable spherical bodies through a coil spring 11, are respectively positioned between the upward concave portion 7 and the downward concave portion 8 in a pressure contact state. |
