The gear has an eccentric unit (2) stationarily mounted at a drive wheel i.e. chain wheel. The gear is rotationally fixedly connected with a camshaft (9) by a cross-slide coupling (5). An internal gear (1b) is stationarily connected with the drive wheel. A spur wheel (4) is mounted on the eccentric unit, and combs with the internal gear. The eccentric unit includes two ball bearings, which are radially arranged in a plane. The spur wheel has a rotary connection with the cross-slide coupling. The cross-slide coupling has a rotary connection with a cam shaft-fixed flange (6).
