According to the present invention, a callus is induced from a ginkgo leaf through a tissue culture, and a culture condition with the excellent antioxidant capacity and maximum growth increment is established. In the result of a tissue culture by using a ginkgo leaf, the NAA addition condition indicates the better callus growth in a light condition and a dark condition in comparison with the 2, 3-D addition condition. The culture condition indicating the best callus growth is 10 μM NAA/0.5 μM BA, 10 μM NAA/0.5 μM kinetin. Moreover, the antioxidant capacity of the callus extract induced from a ginkgo leaf is the highest when the callus is suspension cultured in a basal MS medium in which 10 μM NAA is treated in a light condition. In the result of flavonoid glycosides through HPLC, quercetin dehydrate and keamperol is detected as 0.556, 0.157 μg / 20 μl in a suspension cultured green callus in a condition in which 10 μM NAA is treated. The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a callus with the excellent antioxidant capacity.
