摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing spherical titanium powder through a plasma treatment and the spherical titanium powder manufactured thereby. The provided manufacturing method of the spherical titanium powder according to the present invention for the purpose comprises: a step (step 1) of hydrogenating titanium scraps; a step (step 2) of manufacturing titanium hydride powder by pulverizing titanium hydrogenated in the step 1; and a step (step 3) of manufacturing the spherical titanium powder by applying the plasma treatment to the titanium hydride powder manufactured in the step 2 by pulverizing the hydrogenated titanium. In addition, the provided spherical titanium powder manufactured by the method according to the present invention for the purpose has a granularity of 5 to 100nm or 500 to 200μm. According to the present invention, the titanium powder manufactured through an existing hydrogenation-dehydrogenation process (H-DH process) from which a dehydrogenation process is excluded is applied with the plasma treatment and is sintered so that a manufacturing process for the titanium powder can be simplified, and, as a result, economic feasibility in the manufacturing process can be improved. In addition, the angled titanium hydride powder manufactured by pulverizing the hydrogenated titanium can be formed into spherical shapes by being applied with the plasma treatment; the particle size of the titanium hydride powder can be reduced; and hydrogen and impurities can be removed from inside the titanium hydride powder.
