The present invention provides an anti-bacterial composition against at least one respiratory disease related bacteria which are selected among Pyogenic streptococci, Haemophilus influenza type b bacteria, Klebsiella pneumonia, or Streptococcus pneumoniae, wherein the anti-bacterial composition comprises essential oil from fir needles or fractions of essential oil from fir needles as an effective ingredient. The anti-bacterial composition of the present invention can exhibit excellent antibacterial activity against the above respiratory disease related bacteria, thereby being applied to cosmetics, fungicides, or pharmaceutical preparations.
