<p>The present invention relates to a method for entering characters from a keyboard having twelve keys without delay and according to a multi-tap technique. A method for inputting Korean characters according to the present invention comprises: assigning to the keyboard Korean phonemes along with keys such as space and backspace; and when consecutively entering two of the characters assigned to the same key is required, 1) a random character assigned to a different key is inserted in between the two characters, and then the random character is automatically deleted or changed, or 2) the second character is entered by using an Alt key and then automatically changed when the next character is entered. A method for entering English characters according to the present invention comprises: assigning to the keyboard the alphabet along with keys such as space and backspace; and when consecutively entering two of the characters assigned to the same key is required, the second character is entered by pressing an Alt key.</p> |
