<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method that are capable of appropriately correcting deterioration in resolution of an image even when a change in an aperture diameter in photographing is large.SOLUTION: A microcomputer 230 calculates gain correction amounts corresponding to an aperture value in photographing of a photographing lens 102 for a plurality of frequency components of RGB image data obtained through an image sensor 204, respectively. In accordance with the gain correction amounts, an edge enhancement processing unit 2182 extracts the plurality of frequency components from the RGB image data, and corrects frequency characteristics of the respective frequency components using the mutually different gain correction amounts.</p> |
