<p>The device (1) has holder that is provided for holding solder-forming component (4). An energy radiation (10) is transmitted via nozzle (7) of welding device. An inert gas (18) is wrapped on focal spot (13) of solder-forming component. A sensor (15) is configured to detect radiation pattern on the focal spot, and control flow rate of inert gas for controlling variations in radiation pattern on focal spot.
