<p>A display device equipped with a touch panel (5) includes a device chassis (9) provided with an opening section (23), a display panel (4) having a display surface (4a) disposed accessible through the opening section (23), a touch panel (5) disposed on the display surface (4a) of the display panel (4) and capable at least of selecting a function displayed on the display surface (4a) in response to a pressing operation on the touch panel (5), and a surface sheet (6) for covering the touch panel (5) on the opposite side to the display panel (4), and closing the opening section (23) to form substantially the same surface with the device chassis (9), wherein a reinforcing area (c) for improving resistivity against pressing force applied from the outside is provided in a predetermined range of the surface sheet (6).</p> |
