<p>The present invention relates to an electric vehicle and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the electric vehicle comprises a plurality of battery modules including a plurality of battery cells; a plurality of monitoring units for monitoring the voltage of the respective battery modules; a plurality of balancing circuits connected to the respective battery modules and balancing the voltage thereof; and a control unit for transmitting a voltage balancing command to the corresponding balance circuits to perform the voltage balancing of the specific battery module based on consumed current data which is received by the monitoring units.</p> |
