[Class 75 (iv)] One or more hot cathode electric discharge lamps 4 are supported by tags 10 carried by insulating holders 3 closing the ends of an elongated metal casing 1 in which are mounted the stabilizing chokes 6, thermal switches 7 and radio-quenching condensers 8 on carrier plates 5 attached end to end to the casing cover 2. The leads 9, 9' from the component on the carrier plates are connected to the tags 10 in which the lamp caps 11 fit. A reflector 12 may be suspended from the casing 1. Fig. 3 shows a holder adapted to support three tags 10 in a slot 13 or a smaller number adjustable along the slot. |
