The present invention relates to a method for producing low-molecular weight fucoidan having a sulfate group content of 25% or more by acid hydrolysis of crude fucoidan, and more specifically, to a producing method comprising the steps of: performing an acid hydrolysis reaction of crude fucoidan under conditions of strong acid of pH 2-5 within 0.5 to 5.5 hours; and filtering the hydrolyzed product using an inorganic film. According to the method for producing low-molecular weight fucoidan using acid hydrolysis and an inorganic film filtering system of the present invention, hydrolysis and filtration are simultaneously performed by suing an inorganic film, which is stably operable under conditions of high temperature and strong acid as an acid hydrolysis conditions, thereby decreasing the reaction time and thus producing a low-molecular weight fucoidan retaining a high sulfate group content, and the reaction can be advanced by continuously adding reactants in consideration of the filtering quantity, thereby improving the production efficiency and yield. Thus, the use of the producing method of the present invention requires no high-cost enzyme that is conventionally used, thereby producing low-molecular fucoidan with high efficiency and high yield at a low cost. |
