The motor has a rotor comprising disks (22a) rotatably fixed to a rotor shaft (21). A magnetic stator has a set of disjointed stator bars (31, 31') made of magnetically conductive material, where parts (312a, 312b, 312'a, 312'b) of the bars form an outer portion of the stator. The stator has a carrier structure (32) holding the bars such that the bars are fixed relative to each other. The structure is mounted such that the structure rotates on the shaft, axially outside the disks. The outer portion extends parallel to a rotation axis until the structure, where the axis is outside the disks. |
