PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operating noise of a moving mechanism when an additional element is deployed or stored.SOLUTION: In a moving mechanism of a vehicle door mirror device 10, a motor 30 is driven to rotate, whereby a Geneva gear 40 is disengaged from a rotational gear 42 and an urging force of a compression coil spring 44 deploys a moving element 20. Furthermore, the motor 30 is driven to rotate, whereby the Geneva gear 40 is engaged with the rotational gear 42 to store the moving element 20 against the urging force of the compression coil spring 44. In this way, the urging force of the compression coil spring 44 enables the moving element 20 to be deployed, which can reduce operating noise of the moving mechanism 28 at the time of deploying the moving element 20. |
