PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "broadcast receiver" which allows for searching of a selectable broadcasting station, while listening to digital broadcast, even if only one tuner is provided.SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver includes analog broadcast signal output means for outputting an analog broadcast signal transmitted from a broadcasting station, digital broadcast signal output means for demodulating and outputting a digital broadcast signal transmitted from a broadcasting station, first output switching means for switching output of the analog broadcast signal to output of the demodulated digital broadcast signal corresponding to the analog broadcast signal, when demodulation of the digital broadcast signal corresponding to the analog broadcast signal is completed, and broadcasting station search control means for searching a broadcasting station capable of being selected at a frequency other than the frequency for broadcasting the digital broadcast signal, when output of an analog broadcast signal is switched to output of a demodulated digital broadcast signal by the first output switching control means. |
