PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pick-up apparatus having an AEC function which can prevent unevenness of a captured image without up-sizing.SOLUTION: An image pick-up apparatus includes a plurality of pixels (201) arranged in matric while having conversion elements for converting radiation or light into charges and switch elements for outputting an electric signal based on the charges through the signal wiring, current monitor circuits (MVS, MVG) for monitoring the current flowing through the wiring extending in two or more different directions and connected with the plurality of pixels, and an operation unit (561) for operating a two-dimensional distribution by performing reverse projection processing of a current flowing through the wiring extending in a different direction monitored by the current monitor circuit.
