In at least a part of the surface layer part of the R-T-B-based sintered magnet, the mass ratio of Pr in rare earth elements contained in a metallic phase present in the grain boundary multipoint of the crystal grains is 75% or less, and higher by 10% or more than the mass ratio of Pr in the rare earth elements contained in the crystal grains adjacent to the metallic phase. General formula: RTB (where, R represents one or more rare earth elements including 50 mass% or more of Nd, and T represents Fe, or Fe and Co.)
