PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for decorative molding for use in insert molding that is excellent in shaping properties and external appearance characteristics.SOLUTION: The sheet for decorative molding is used for molding a preform molded article for decorative insert molding has a grain side layer laminated on a surface of a substrate comprising a fiber entangled body of an ultrafine fiber bundle composed of a modified polyester having a glass transition temperature of 100-120°C and a crosslinked polyurethane impregnated in the fiber entangled body. The thickness of the sheet for decorative molding or the substrate under a load of 240 gf/cmis 90-100% of the thickness at no load. The average value of the distance between the ultrafine fiber bundles in the thickness direction of the sheet for decorative molding is 0-10 μm.
