According to an embodiment of the present invention, a variable valve lift device includes: a cam shaft; a cam piece having one side with first cams having different lift amounts, having a first cam protruding portion formed adjacent to the first cams, rotated together with the cam shaft, and movably arranged on the cam shaft; a first guide pin formed to protrude from one side of the outer peripheral surface of the first cam protruding portion; a first guide arranged to correspond to the first cam protruding portion, and having first guide grooves such that the first cam piece is moved in one direction along the cam shaft according to rotation of the first guide pin; and a first driving part configured to move the first guide to a first cam protruding portion side such that the first guide pin is inserted into the first guide groove of the first guide. Therefore, the valve lift can be controlled in multi stages by forming the cams in the cam piece longitudinally moving on the cam shaft, and moving the cam piece in a longitudinal direction of the cam shaft by a structure of fastening the guide pin to the guide. A return protrusion formed on the cam piece pushes the guide to the outside to interrupt the longitudinal movement of the cam piece.
