A disclosed foldable sunroof device by the present invention comprises a cover unit which selectively opens and closes at least a portion of a vehicle; a support unit which supports a plurality of portions of the cover unit to move the cover unit in opening and closing directions for selectively opening and closing a portion of the vehicle and supports the cover unit to be folded into multiple layers; a driving unit which drives the support unit in the opening and closing directions and lifts the cover unit supported by the support unit to be selectively folded; and an intervention unit which selectively intervenes in a position of the support unit and intervenes in the operation of the cover unit in a position of closing the vehicle. By the above configuration, the quality of opening and closing a sunroof is improved by intervening in an abnormal operation of the cover unit.
