In the present invention, provided are a system for providing a recommended word considering the popularity of a web document and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the system for providing a recommended word includes a service server which, when provided with a search word from a user terminal, calculates the popularity of a web document corresponding to the category of the search word provided, and extracts and supplies at least one recommended word related to the search word in the web document according to the calculated popularity; and a database which stores at least one recommended word related to the search word provided. |
