The embodiments of the present invention relate to an alternator and a rotor for a vehicle capable of preventing an energy leakage in the rotor when the rotor is operated. An existing rotor has an energy leakage problem due to the leakage of magnetic flux through an air gap because the air gap is formed between poles for the rotor surrounding a coil. To solve this problem, one embodiment of the present invention removes the air gap by arranging a magnetic flux leakage preventing unit in the air gap between the poles for the rotor. Thereby, one embodiment of the present invention increases the energy efficiency of the alternator by preventing the energy leakage and improves the efficiency of an engine for the vehicle. |
