A tire pressure monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a tire pressure monitoring module for monitoring the pressure or temperature of a tire; a first contact terminal connected to the tire pressure monitoring module and for forming a human body communications channel when being in contact with a human body; a second contact terminal for forming a human body communications channel when being in contact with a human body; and a control unit for transmitting an identification code to specify the position of the tire pressure monitoring module when the first contact terminal and the second contact terminal are connected to one human body.
