Headgear for a patient interface, the headgear comprising a resilient band or strap 105 having a stiffness providing an extension of 150mm with the application of a force less than 2N from a relaxed condition. The band 105 has a width of 3mm to 6mm, and a relaxed length of 350mm to 450mm. The band 105 is constructed from a knitted or braided yarn, where the yarn includes filaments of a first material and filaments of a second material of high elasticity but much lower stiffness than the first material. The band 105 may have connectors at each end. |
