[Problem to be solved] To provide a method for ornamenting a container, a mandrel, drum, apparatus used for the method, in which the number of manufacturing process and the manufacturing cost are reduced, and prevents scratches in the inner and outer surface of the container. [Solution] The ornamenting method of a container comprises a process to perform underprinting, a process to perform outer surface printing, and a process to perform embossing on the surface of the container held by a holding means in a manufacturing line. It is preferable that the outer surface printing process and the embossing process are simultaneously or successively performed.
