PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proxy processing device, improving a power saving effect by an ONU sleep function when a user is not using a service, and capable of flexibly compatible with a widely spread new control protocol.SOLUTION: In an upper-level device than an ONU, the proxy processing device according to the present invention performs proxy processing for a frame not related to the sensory quality of a user use service. When the user is not using the service, the number of frames reaching the ONU is reduced, to thereby enhance a power saving effect by the ONU sleep function. |
