PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deformation of a recording medium sent out to a platen side even if a paper feed roller deforms.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a paper feed roller 40 and a press roller 41 which are arranged upstream from a platen 10 in a paper feed direction X. The press roller 41 moves along an arcuate track having its center at a fulcrum 49c of a paper press lever 49 when the paper feed roller 40 deforms with pressing force and moves down. Therefore, a nip position N of a continuous form between the press roller 41 and paper feed roller 40 follows up the moving-down action of the paper feed roller 40 to move away from the platen 10 along an outer peripheral surface of the paper feed roller 40 which is upward convex. Consequently, the tilt angle &thetas; of a tangent direction at the nip position N changes and the front end of the continuous form 2 sent out to the side of the platen 10 is lifted to eliminate deformation of the continuous form 2. |
