<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical lens, making a thick part and a thin part uniform in transmittance in the optical axis direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical lens 10 is formed of composite materials containing inorganic filler in a parent phase resin 3 and shaped like a convex lens. The lens includes a first area 1 containing inorganic filler 4 with a relatively larger average particle size and a second area 2 containing inorganic filler 5 with a relatively smaller average particle size. The first area 1 and the second area 2 are shaped to be symmetrical about the central axis B in the optical axis direction A. In a section passing through the central axis B in the optical axis direction A, an average filler sectional area per inorganic filler obtained by dividing the total sectional area of the inorganic filler 4 in the central area 6 by the number of inorganic fillers 4 in the central area 6 is larger than the average filler sectional area per inorganic filler obtained by dividing the total sectional area of the inorganic fillers in a peripheral area 7 by the number of inorganic fillers 5 in the peripheral area 7.
