<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic thread fastening device improved in a support structure of a reaction torque associated with thread fastening.SOLUTION: A nut runner 6 for rotationally driving a screw is displaced by sliding in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the nut runner 6 by a slide mechanism 5. The slide mechanism 5 includes a guide rail 25 and a slider 24 guided by the guide rail 25. A guide surface 24A of the slider 24 contacts a top surface 25A of the guide rail 25 so that a reaction torque associated with thread fastening by the nut runner 6 is supported by a wide area. Thus, displacement of the slider 24 caused by the reaction torque can be prevented by a stable supporting structure of the reaction torque.</p> |
