The meter has a totalizer provided with an electronic display member and covered with a cover (2) presenting a window (2A) allowing visualization of a liquid crystal screen (3) centered along a vertical central axis (X) of the meter. The cover carries official information e.g. serial number, on its external face (4), and is pivotable around the axis (X). Inductive or capacitive sensors (5, 6) e.g. manual actuating button, placed under the cover actuate control of display of the screen such that data displayed by the screen are in same reading directions (S1) as the official information. |
